Manilva Town Hall will have 23 university students from our municipality, who will carry out work placements lasting one month in its various departments.
This is the fifth consecutive year that these grants have been awarded, a clear commitment to the education and integration of our students, through the Training and Employment Promotion department.

Also present at the reception, held in the Council Chamber, alongside the young people, were the mayor of the town, Mario Jiménez, the councillor in charge of the department, Marcos Ruiz, and councillors Diego José Jiménez, Daniel Muñoz, Eva Galindo, Paqui López and Francisco Becerra.

For the mayor, it is a firm commitment to the future and to the training of Manilva’s university students, providing extra staff support for the Town Hall itself, as well as the academic and professional development it brings for the students.

Marcos Ruiz, as head of the Training department, highlights that in many cases this is the first paid work experience for these young people, who, as far as possible, will work for the Town Hall in positions related to the subjects they are studying.

Along the same lines, the First Deputy Mayor, Diego José Jiménez, stressed the importance of gaining experience through these placements, while the Town Hall departments benefit from the work of those selected.

As Education councillor, Daniel Muñoz highlighted the commitment to encouraging academic study through initiatives of this kind, which will add value to the performance of Manilva Town Hall, with a direct impact on all residents of the municipality.
