The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, and the first deputy mayor, Agustín Vargas, have received at the Town Hall José María Vera López, Deputy General Manager, and Luis Barea García, Business Unit Director for the Málaga Area of Caja Rural del Sur.
Both the Town Hall and the bank will explore all the options available for opening a bank branch in the town centre of Manilva, in order to provide a much-needed service to residents.
With the utmost willingness on both sides, the matter now rests with Caja Rural del Sur, which will carry out an assessment after conducting a market study, with the Town Hall itself providing the necessary resources.
Once the appropriate steps have been taken, talks will resume to continue moving forward on the possibility of Manilva having a bank branch.
