Third phase of works on the Sabinillas seafront promenade

-

Manilva Town Hall has announced the awarding of the contract for the third phase of works on the Paseo Marítimo de Sabinillas. The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, and the Infrastructure and Works councillor, Agustín Vargas, visited the third section of the promenade in person to share the news with local traders and residents. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the details of the next phase of the works and to respond to residents’ concerns.

In an effort to maintain open and constructive communication, the mayor and the councillor have scheduled a meeting with the business owners operating in the affected area of the promenade. This ensures that their interests and needs are duly considered during the works.

The third phase runs from the end of the second section to the well-known Chiringuito El Paseo. Work is scheduled to begin in the second half of November, with an execution period of six months.

The Infrastructure and Works councillor highlighted the importance of the project, which will be carried out in several sections to minimise any negative impact on local businesses and residents’ daily lives. The characteristic colours of the previous phases will be kept, but changes will be made to the design, including the removal of metal from the surface, among other elements, to guarantee a top-quality finish.

Both the mayor and the councillor stressed the Town Hall’s commitment to closely supervising each stage of the works, thus ensuring that the Paseo Marítimo de Sabinillas continues to be an emblematic and welcoming place for residents and visitors alike.
