The Nuevo Alfonso finally comes into port, a little late. In tribute to the town’s fishing families, Manilva Town Hall decided to place replicas of their boats on the Pueblo Mexicano roundabout, giving it a very distinctive and attractive look with its night-time lighting.
Initially, four boats were installed, named Prosperidad, Felicidad, Hermanos Medina III and Nuevo Juanita Reina, intended to beautify this corner of the municipality while also paying a small tribute to all of them. However, the Nuevo Alfonso was initially forgotten. Since Tuesday it has been on display, joining the other boats on this attractive roundabout.
