What seemed like a dream has come true in just a few months. Manilva Town Hall, through the Mayor’s Office and Vehicle Fleet departments, has arranged in record time the purchase of a new 30-seater minibus that will enter service for residents shortly.

The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, the Vehicle Fleet councillor, Noelia Muñoz, and councillor Rogelio Pascual have been able to see for themselves the vehicle’s outstanding equipment, which will significantly improve transport in our town.

The formal key handover ceremony took place at the Palacio de Congresos de Málaga as part of the Jornadas del Transporte de Viajeros de Málaga-Jornadas Andaluzas, and the vehicle will then be presented in our town.

Technical features:

  • Ramp for people with reduced mobility.
  • Eight adapted seats.
  • Individual USB charging.
  • Personalised air conditioning and heating convectors.
  • Information display.
  • Latest driver assistance technology.
  • Thermal insulation on the windows against the heat.
  • Maximum safety system.

More improvements to public transport

The livery, which will give an identity to transport in our town, will also be extended to taxis.

It is worth noting and remembering that another bus, with 41 seats, is currently out to tender and could be operational around October.

A great step forward for Manilva

The new minibus is great news for Manilva, as it represents a substantial improvement in the public transport service. The vehicle is equipped with the latest technology and offers greater comfort and safety for all users.

The purchase of this new minibus demonstrates Manilva Town Hall’s commitment to improving the quality of life of its residents.
