The Tourism department of Manilva Town Hall has announced the programme of activities that will take place in the plaza de la Vendimia in Manilva for «Saborea Manilva 2024«, which will run from Thursday 5 December, over the bank holiday long weekend and coinciding with the inauguration of the Christmas lights, until Sunday 8 December.

Thursday 5 December
20:00 h. – Inauguration and switching on of the Christmas lights.
20:00 h. – Inauguration of the «SABOREA MANILVA» Fair with a tasting of Manilva Wine.
21:00 h. – Live music: «ASOC. CULTURAL ZAMBOMBÁ MANILVEÑA».
22:00 h. – Live music: «COMPÁS FLAMENCO».
23:30 h. – DJ Gody.
Friday 6 December
11:30 h. – Opening of the «Saborea Manilva» stands.
11:30 h. – Manilva wine competition: the jury meets and deliberates on the wine samples by category.
11:30 h. – 12:00 h. – Registration for the GOTTAN cookery demonstration (Manilva Town Hall stand).
12:00 h. – 13:30 h. – GOTTAN cookery demonstration and tasting of the dishes prepared.
13:30 h. – 14:00 h. – Guided tasting by Moremiel.
12:00 h. – 14:00 h. – Disney characters visit the children’s area of the Saborea Manilva marquee.
15:00 h. – Reading of the jury’s minutes and presentation of prizes for the Manilva wine competition.
15:15 h. – Tasting of the wines entered in the competition.
16:30 h. – Live music: «EL KALE».
18:00 h. – Performance by Jessica Quiñones’ music and body expression school.
19:00 h. – Live music: «EN SU PUNTO». 22:00 h. Live music: «TRUENO AZUL».

Saturday 7 December
11:30 h. – Opening of the «Saborea Manilva» stands.
11:30 h. – 12:00 h. Registration for the DANI cookery demonstration.
12:00 h. – 14:00 h. – DANI cookery demonstration, plaza café, and guided wine tasting by the TALLER SUMILLERIA.
12:00 h. – 14:00 h. – Disney characters visit the children’s area of the Saborea Manilva marquee.
14:00 h. – Live music: «LOVE TO SING» beside the Christmas tree in the plaza de la Vendimia.
16:00 h. – Baking competition. Entries will be received from 16:00 h to 16:30 h.
16:30 h. – 18:00 h. – Disney characters visit the children’s area of the Saborea Manilva marquee.
17:00 h. – Prize presentation, followed by a tasting of the desserts entered.
18:30 h. – Live music: «ANICHI».
20:00 h. – Live music: «BELMONTE».
22:00 h. – Band: «VICENTE BERNAL».
23:30 h. – DJ Gody.
Sunday 8 December
9:30 h. – Walk along the Manilva springs and vineyards trail, in collaboration with the KRUOS de Manilva (5.5 km, circular, easy level), meeting point plaza de la Vendimia.
11:30 h. – Opening of the «Saborea Manilva» stands.
11:30 h. – Tasting of fried sweet dough cakes (tortas fritas) with chocolate.
12:30 h. – POPI National Ham Carving Competition. Charity competition: a plate of ham can be enjoyed in exchange for a donation of 3 kilos of food.
16:00 h. – Bachata Touch workshop with Gina and Riky, Bachata passión academy.
17:30 h. – Parrandas gathering.
