More than 50 young people have enjoyed the Unión Manilva Summer Campus, which had the support of the Sports and Youth departments, headed by Manolo Gil and Daniel Muñoz.
The initiative ran during July and August to occupy children’s leisure time during the school holidays.
Throughout this time, the participants took part in all kinds of sporting and recreational activities at the football pitch, the Las Viñas sports hall and the multi-purpose hall, as well as the municipal swimming pool. Every Friday they also had the collaboration of the Club Ciclista de Manilva to improve their bike-riding skills.
On the last day of the camp, the participants enjoyed refreshing water games and a bouncy castle.
In addition, the campus was run by four sports instructors from our municipality, who looked after the youngsters perfectly.
For the municipal officials the activity has been a great success, so they will continue to support this type of initiative.
Daniel Muñoz and Manolo Gil presented a gift to all the children before the activities ended with a group photo of everyone who made the Unión Manilva Sports Camp possible.
