To mark the festivity of San Luis, the local club Club CASAMA has organised a petanque tournament for pairs, in men’s, women’s or mixed categories.
According to the organisers, the sporting event will take place on the courts of the Ciudad de la petanca, and participants will have to pay 10 euros per person.
The tournament will be played in two phases, initially with four groups of four teams, so each team will play at least three matches.
The winner of each group will qualify for the semi-finals and the runner-up for the consolation semi-finals.
Entries are therefore limited to 16 teams, and the deadline to register is 25 August.

It is also worth noting that there will be attractive prizes for the top four teams in both the main draw and the consolation draw.
Club CASAMA and the Sports department, headed by councillor Manolo Gil, encourage residents to take part in this fine tournament commemorating the feast day of the patron saint of the people of Sabinillas.
