The Infrastructure and Works department of Manilva Town Hall reports that work continues on Avenida Miraflores, in San Luis de Sabinillas, this time with resurfacing.
The councillor for this area, Diego José Jiménez, who visited the site, explained that this is one of the most important projects of the term of office. The full remodelling of this avenue underwent a change to the project, owing to a number of technical changes, and the bureaucratic process involved has slowed down its execution.
Jiménez detailed the extensive work carried out underground, where the capacity to drain rainwater into the sea has been multiplied by seven, improving safety in the event of storms with heavy rain, a problem that has unfortunately recurred in recent years.
As the councillor indicated, the work on Avenida Miraflores will be completed this October.
He also apologised for any inconvenience the works may cause residents.
