The Infrastructure and Works councillor, Diego José Jiménez, accompanied by councillor Francisco Becerra, visited calle Nueva in Manilva to check on the resurfacing work currently under way.
This area and its surroundings, which are very busy as the road leads onto the ring road, form part of the Road Surface Action Plan that the department is drawing up for the whole municipality.
Diego Jiménez welcomed the considerable improvement to the street, as «the surface was worn and made it harder for vehicles to brake, with the danger that entails».
It should be noted that this work will continue across the municipality, with the Tejarillo area the next to be resurfaced.
