The playgrounds at the nursery and infant schools in San Luis de Sabinillas and Maicandil now look markedly better thanks to work carried out by the Infrastructure and Works department of Manilva Town Hall.
The councillor responsible, Diego José Jiménez, visited the facilities together with the head of the department, Mari Ángeles Ramos, to check the final result of work aimed at making the playgrounds safer for the youngest pupils.
As Jiménez explained, the work consisted of renewing the rubber flooring and laying artificial grass over an area of 380 square metres at the Sabinillas infant school playground, and 400 m² at the Maicandil school.
In addition to painting work, the drainage systems have also been renewed in a project that took approximately two weeks.
Both schools will have an improved appearance, with the safety of the infant school pupils the main priority.
