Manilva Town Hall published last month the tender specifications for the purchase of two new buses for the town under a leasing arrangement, an aim that has been in the works for more than 4 years and in which no company had shown any interest so far.
The aim was to acquire two new Class III buses with 30 seats in order to run the intercity and school transport services that fall under the responsibility of the Town Hall itself, with a budget of €388,397.26.
Companies interested in providing this service could submit their bids until 2 June 2023 at 23:59, but once again, for the third time, no company has wanted to take part in the tender, so the procedure will have to be restarted or other options studied that will finally allow these vehicles to be acquired, providing a proper image and a more efficient service.
