The public transport service has its large bus back following the engine repair and extensive testing, with safety as the absolute priority.
José Manuel Fernández, mayor of Manilva, and Noelia Muñoz, councillor for the Vehicle Fleet department, accompanied by councillor Fina Gómez, were present at the Civima stop, where they spoke with the driver and users of the service.
It should be remembered that this transport service was affected by a technical problem, a serious engine breakdown that forced the bus to be taken out of service. The Town Hall has had to work hard to find a solution and speed up the bureaucratic procedures for the repair of this 20-year-old bus, which has cost close to 7,000€.
It should also be remembered that the service will be expanded with more vehicles. The Town Hall is currently going through the bureaucratic procedures needed to obtain them, in the hope that one of them will be operational at the start of next year.
