Tubalita beach will have a lifeguard tower for the first time, completing the coverage of the Lifeguard Plan along the whole of Manilva’s coastline.
The Beaches department, headed by Gema Zotano, has installed a new lifeguard tower in the Tubalita area to extend this service and cover an area that has never had such a structure.
This will give the lifeguard service a fixed point on Tubalita beach, making it easier for professionals to organise shifts and carry out their work.
The installation of the lifeguard tower forms part of the preparation and maintenance of Manilva’s beaches for the coming summer season.
Improved beach safety
The new lifeguard tower on Tubalita beach will improve the safety of bathers, as it will give lifeguards a better view of the area and allow them to act more quickly in an emergency.
More and better services for Manilva’s beaches
Manilva Town Hall is working to improve the services offered on the municipality’s beaches, with the aim of making them more accessible, safer and more attractive for residents and visitors.
The installation of the lifeguard tower on Tubalita beach demonstrates the Town Hall’s commitment to improving the quality of Manilva’s beaches.
