New flooring for the playground of the Sabinillas nursery school

The Infrastructure and Works, Education and Parks and Gardens departments are working together to improve the educational facilities in the municipality of Manilva.

This time it is a much-requested project, as Diego José Jiménez explained, which has involved replacing the surface of the playground at the Sabinillas nursery school using the same process carried out in other centres, where rubber flooring has been used and artificial grass laid on top so that the little ones have a more comfortable and, above all, safer space.

The area being worked on measures around 300 m² and installation is already under way at this children’s facility, which also has play equipment for the youngest children. As the Parks and Gardens councillor, Francisco Becerra, explained, this equipment will be gradually renewed and added to the other nursery centres in the municipality.

The renovation and maintenance of the town’s educational facilities is a priority for the governing team, as well as for the Education councillor, Daniel Muñoz, who also visited the centre to check on the progress of the work.

It is also worth noting that the existing trees on the site will not be affected by the works and that, in just a few days, the children at the Sabinillas nursery will have this completely renovated play area available.
