Club CASAMA now has a new facility at the Ciudad de la Petanca in Sabinillas. It is a new hut that will be used for board meetings, as an information office for members of the public, and for storage.
These petanque facilities have eight courts for playing the sport, toilets and the newly opened hut, a complex that has received a total investment of €120,000.
The first deputy mayor, Diego José Jiménez, wished to stress the importance of this investment for this significant group.
The president of Club CASAMA, José Pajares, spoke of his satisfaction at having these facilities, which meet all the needs of the organisation he leads.
Both the mayor, Mario Jiménez, and the Sports councillor, Manolo Gil, agreed that it is not only the club’s headquarters or the venue for tournaments, some of them international, but also a meeting point where everyone who wants to enjoy the sport or take it up has the opportunity to do so with all the guarantees offered by facilities of this size.
