Manilva Town Hall presented this morning at the Castillo de la Duquesa the new bus that will reinforce the municipal transport service. Since the start of the term of office, improving transport has been a priority for the governing team, and this new vehicle is the result of all the work carried out to that end.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the local parish priest, D. José Antonio Melgar, who blessed the vehicle, and by representatives of the taxi sector, who play a key role in the complementary transport service.
The new bus, which carries the corporate branding of Manilva Única, is equipped with six special spaces and has capacity for 39 passengers, as well as having all the comforts, safety measures and features needed to guarantee a quality service. This vehicle will benefit not only the public in general, but also students from Manilva who travel to Aprona every day.
The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, accompanied by members of the Governing Team, expressed his satisfaction at this achievement: «I would like to highlight the magnificent work carried out by councillor Noelia Muñoz in the Parque Móvil (vehicle fleet) department, which Agustín Vargas will continue along the same lines, with the aim of offering the best possible service to the public», said the mayor.
