Sabinillas beach will host one of the official events of the COSTA DEL SUP Andalusian circuit in 2023, endorsed by the Spanish Surfing Federation. The event, organised by the Sports department with the invaluable collaboration of Club Paddle Surf Manilva, will bring a large number of enthusiasts of the sport, as well as top-level athletes from the national scene, to our beaches.
The event, which will take place in September, aims to make Manilva a benchmark for water sports and outdoor activities in general and Stand Up Paddle in particular, highlighting the quality of our coastline for this type of activity.
The event will be open to all enthusiasts of the sport, regardless of their level and age, as it will include races for all levels, with the festive atmosphere that characterises this type of event.
Manolo Gil, Sports councillor, said he was «Very pleased that our municipality is once again an important venue for sporting events, especially when room is made for less widely followed disciplines, and in this way we can help to expand their activities and competitions».
