Maintenance work in the ecological reserve

-

The Environment department of Manilva Town Hall has scheduled cleaning and general maintenance work for this month of February in one of the most visited natural areas in our municipality, the Playas de Manilva Ecological Reserve.

The councillor responsible for this area, Laura López, explains that work will be carried out both on the route of the coastal path (Senda litoral) that runs through this protected space of great environmental value, and in the surrounding area.

At the same time, the work also includes cleaning and clearing undergrowth and reeds on the banks of the Indiano, Alcorrín, Martagina and Negro streams.
The same work has also been scheduled in the area of the car park set up at Playa del Negro.

The aim of these actions is for this protected area of special interest to be in the best possible condition and look its best.

The Environment department encourages all residents and visitors to Manilva to enjoy this beautiful setting by the sea, and for everyone to help look after one of the most valuable treasures in our municipality.
