The new Partido Popular headquarters, at 1 Calle Álvarez Leiva in Manilva, was presented this afternoon at an event attended by the provincial secretary general of the PP, Jota Carmona, who proposed Jose Manuel Fernandez as candidate to lead the party’s new project for Manilva ahead of the municipal elections on 28 May.
Around 200 people attended the event, including supporters of the party in the town, business owners and young people, as well as party colleagues from other towns who did not want to miss the chance to show their support for the Manilva group, such as the coordinator for the western Costa del Sol, Eduardo Díaz, and Javier Quero (provincial deputy).
Juani Ortiz, the party’s current spokesperson, thanked the large turnout and expressed her hope of winning the coming elections in the town.
Jose Manuel Fernández, for his part, said he felt like just another member of the team that will work to change the future of Manilva.
