Jose Manuel Fernández formally proposed by the provincial PP

-

The Provincial Electoral Committee of the Partido Popular has ratified the candidacy of Jose Manuel Fernández as candidate for the forthcoming municipal elections on 28 May. The nominations will be submitted to the regional body for ratification in the coming days.

The Electoral Committee of the PP in Málaga is chaired by Carolina España. Juan Rosas, Ramón del Cid, María Nieves Atencia, Gemma del Corral, María del Carmen Martínez and Pedro Bosquet took part as members. Mercedes Martín also represents Nuevas Generaciones on this provincial party body.

España highlighted «the stability of People’s Party governments as an engine of progress and development for the municipalities and for the province as a whole», stressing «management and dialogue as guarantees of good government».

The PP leader also praised «the commitment of the Diputación Provincial and of Juanma Moreno’s Andalusian government to the advancement of these municipalities, bringing unprecedented progress in water or promoting necessary infrastructure in health and education», she concluded.

We recall that on 28 October the new headquarters on calle Álvarez Leiva in Manilva was presented at a packed event attended by the provincial PP secretary general Jota Carmona, at which he already proposed Fernández as a possible candidate for mayor of Manilva for the Partido Popular.
