With the handover of the works on Avenida Miraflores in Sabinillas, the administrative process concludes for a project that has brought a considerable improvement to both the infrastructure and the appearance of the road.
To formalise the handover, the mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the Infrastructure and Works councillor, Diego José Jiménez, attended the site together with the municipal comptroller, the municipal technicians and representatives of the company that carried out the works.
It should be remembered that since last month the avenue has been open to traffic, with all the facilities and guarantees needed for its use.
The councillor responsible for the department stressed the improvement of everything beneath the road surface, its appearance and the good use of the space, which has also gained parking spaces.
For his part, the mayor, who apologised to residents for the disruption caused by the works, highlighted the excellent result, in a very busy spot practically in the centre of Sabinillas.
The municipal representatives agreed that the complete remodelling of all the elements allows far more rainwater to drain to the sea, with capacity increased sevenfold.
