The Government Team, as it has been doing since the state of alarm over the pandemic began, has just finished a meeting to review the current situation, based on the incidence data provided by the Andalusian regional government’s health service.
With the incidence now below 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, and always remaining very cautious as the days pass and the covid situation develops, it has been decided to reopen the children’s playgrounds and the municipal fountains.
In addition, the street markets will resume in Manilva and Sabinillas, on Fridays and Mondays.
From tomorrow, the museums of the Civima and the Castle will also open and can be visited.
At the same meeting it was also decided that next Tuesday, after the Semana Blanca (mid-term break), the Music School will restart with in-person classes.
The library, the gym in Manilva and sporting activity in general will also reopen.
The courses and workshops run by the Culture and Women’s departments will resume, and each department will provide full details regarding the painting classes, dressmaking and sewing, bobbin lace, etc.
The children’s playgrounds will open to the public, except for the Acapulco one and the Castillo one, as it is undergoing refurbishment.
In short, a prudent, gradual de-escalation that will depend on how the incidence develops, with the sole aim of safeguarding public health.
Manilva Town Hall stresses the need to continue complying with the measures imposed by the Central Government and the Junta de Andalucía.
