During the ceremony, the mayor of Manilva highlighted the importance of Puerto de La Duquesa for the local economy and tourism. He also praised the work of Marinas del Mediterráneo in keeping the Blue Flag for so many years.

For his part, Manuel Raigón said that this award is «the result of the effort and dedication of the whole marina team». He also thanked Manilva Town Hall for its collaboration and support.
