Another tender for a 30-seat bus

-

Manilva Town Hall, under the leadership of mayor José Manuel Fernández and with the support of Fleet department councillor Noelia Muñoz, continues working to provide a more efficient, modern municipal transport service adapted to the real needs of the municipality. To this end, it has decided to purchase a new 30-seat bus that will reinforce and optimise the existing urban transport network.

The process began today with the publication of the public tender, together with the Technical Specifications, on the Public Sector Procurement Platform, with a delivery period of 12 months from the announcement of the award. The new vehicle is intended to improve and expand the intercity and school public transport services, which are essential for residents.

The purchase of this minibus represents a firm commitment by Manilva Town Hall to providing more efficient, safe and comfortable mobility for all residents and visitors. The modernisation of the municipal fleet clearly reflects the administration’s interest in continuing to improve quality of life in the municipality.

It should be recalled that the previous council made several earlier attempts to make this purchase but, unfortunately, all of them failed because no company showed any interest, so if it succeeds this time, it will to some extent expose those previously responsible.
