The Andalusian regional government’s Department of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities has released figures for the number of businesses registered with Social Security in Manilva for September. The number fell by 12 businesses compared with the previous month, twice the 6 that closed in August, leaving the total number of businesses in Manilva at 555.
By sector, the services sector is the only one affected, with all 12 closures attributed to the seasonal nature of employment in the town.
The Employment Promotion department of Manilva Town Hall, headed by Marcos Ruiz, has launched a web platform that gives local businesses an ideal tool, which is working quite well, for publishing job vacancies or finding potential candidates, who can also register on the application to post their CV. It can be accessed at: https://empleomanilva.com
