The municipality of Manilva hosts one of its most multicultural and international events of the year: the XVII International Meeting and Family Day, two events that will be held jointly on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May around the Castillo de la Duquesa and the Parque del Huerto.
Agustín Vargas, councillor for Foreign Residents and Tourism, has highlighted the importance of this event, which showcases the cultural diversity and family atmosphere that characterise our town.
The weekend will feature a parade of flags, dance and music performances from more than twenty countries, wine tastings by Bodegas Manilva, a craft market, a food stall run by the Asociación Be Yourself, and many activities for the whole family.

🔹 Friday 23 May
19:00: Parade of flags through the Puerto de la Duquesa, Sabinillas and Manilva.
🔹 Saturday 24 May
From 12:30 until midnight: performances by groups from Paraguay, Ukraine, Venezuela, Spain and Uruguay, among others.
Children’s activities in the Parque del Huerto from 13:00 to 21:00, with bouncy castles and entertainment.
Musical finale with a DJ and a performance by Mr. Proper.
🔹 Sunday 25 May
From 12:30 until 23:00: music, dance and folklore from Colombia, Brazil, Morocco, Kalmykia and more.
Closing ceremony with a pop music show by Mr. Proper.
The event is held with the collaboration of associations such as Adana, A.A.A.A. (Asociación de Amigos del Artesano), and many cultural and folk groups.
