Manilva Town Hall has officially signed the certificate of receipt for the works carried out on the building known as Bosquipark, in San Luis de Sabinillas, completing a refurbishment project that will broaden the uses and services provided at this municipal facility.
The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, the Infrastructure and Works councillor, Marcos Ruiz, councillor Agustín Vargas and municipal technicians visited the site to formalise the handover of the work carried out by a local company.
The project received a grant of 120,000 euros from the Diputación Provincial de Málaga and has made it possible to carry out a significant improvement to the building. Among the work carried out, the most notable is the 40 square metre extension of the kitchen, along with its complete modernisation and adaptation to current needs.
According to the Town Hall, the refurbishment will turn Bosquipark into a multipurpose space with a range of possible uses. These include operating as a social kitchen, a catering school and other services of interest to residents.
With this project, the Town Hall aims to provide the municipality with more versatile facilities, suited to future social, training and community projects, thereby expanding the public resources available to the residents of Manilva.
