What's on in Manilva this weekend?

This weekend, 19 to 21 July, the municipality has a number of events scheduled, including the opening of the Medieval Market at El Castillo de la Duquesa, the Belgian Party, which will also take place at the Castillo, the XIV Noche Carnavalesca organised by the Peña Los Niños on Saturday in Sabinillas, and the Holi Party on Sunday at Las Gaviotas beach (next to Puerto de la Duquesa). You can also visit the Mercado del Mar (Sea Market), located on the seafront promenade in the La Noria area, until September.

Manilva Beach Rugby

The MANILVA BEACH RUGBY 2024 tournament returns to La Noria beach in Sabinillas for its fifth edition. It will start at 11:00 on Saturday 20 July and run until approximately 19:00, with a break for a paella lunch. The prize-giving and dinner will take place from 20:00 on the same beach, with a barbecue for all participants.

XIV Noche Carnavalesca

At the Colegio de San Luis de Sabinillas from 21:30, with doors opening at 20:30, it will present a top-class line-up with “Los Colgaos”, “Los Sacrificaos”, “La última y nos vamos” and “El Joyero”, with Jesús Tapia as presenter.

The Chance to Gran Slam

In the Plaza de los Naranjos from 20:00, the Andalusian Kickboxing and Muaythai Federation is holding the Gran Slam in the K-1 Kick Boxing category, with 10 champion trophies and as many for runners-up.
The event is an amateur K1 and boxing night with 10 amateur bouts: 5 of boxing and 5 of K1 kickboxing.

The new altarpiece of the Iglesia Santa Ana will be unveiled this Sunday, 21 July, at the 11:00 mass, which the Bishop will also attend.
