Water cut off at all beach showers

-

Manilva Town Hall has been forced to cut off the water supply to the beach showers because of the misuse they have been subjected to. The showers, intended solely and exclusively for people with reduced mobility, had been used improperly, breaching basic standards of civic behaviour and responsibility, especially during the current drought affecting the region.

The Town Hall has appealed to residents to use water responsibly, especially during this period of drought. It is important that we are all aware of the importance of this precious resource and that we use it responsibly.

The drinking water fountains near the beaches could also be affected if improper use of them is observed. The Town Hall calls on the cooperation of all users to prevent this from happening.

It is a reminder that the responsible use of water is everyone’s obligation. Let us make proper use of this precious resource.

  1. Estoy muy de acuerdo. Lo aplaudo 👏. Y yo soy una persona que va en silla de ruedas, y me dolía el incivismo que estaba viendo, a cualquier hora del día y de la noche.
