VOX submits amendments for Manilva to the Junta's budget

-

The Vox member of the Andalusian Parliament for Málaga, Antonio Sevilla, has announced the 675 amendments registered by his party to «correct and improve» the draft bill for the 2024 Budget presented by Moreno Bonilla’s Andalusian government. They include an amendment to provide Manilva and Sabinillas with 24-hour emergency services, as well as a budget allocation of 300.000€ so that Manilva can improve its intercity transport.

Sevilla insisted that «these are Budgets we do not like because they are very far removed from the reality that all Andalusians experience day to day», and criticised, among other things, that with these public accounts for 2024, Moreno Bonilla’s government «ends up putting its hand in the pocket of all Andalusians».

Despite all this, Sevilla said: «in an act of responsibility towards all Andalusians, we decided not to submit an amendment to the whole». The VOX Parliamentary Group said it wanted to «be constructive and submit partial amendments to these budgets», convinced that they «will help to improve them and adapt them to the real needs of Andalusians», thus providing a solution to «problems that Moreno Bonilla’s PP government has let fester» and that it «has not known how to resolve» despite its supposed good management.

Sevilla warned that the PP executive is «bringing back the water levy, which will mean an increase in the bill paid by all Andalusians»; and also «raising the price of complementary services in Education», so that «the price of school canteen services, extracurricular activities and the early-morning classroom goes up», reproaching them because the Partido Popular then «says that these new budgets serve to improve work-family balance»
