Antonio Marín has reported that the «exchange of serious accusations» between all the political groups is creating «a situation of notable institutional tension in Manilva»
The VOX Manilva Municipal Group has formally registered a request for all documentation relating to the hirings and dismissals carried out by both the current governing team and the previous one. The request follows the last council meeting, at which all the political groups except VOX engaged in an exchange of accusations referring to alleged irregularities in hiring and dismissal procedures during their respective periods in charge of the Town Hall.
Antonio Marín, spokesperson for the VOX Manilva Municipal Group, described as «serious» the accusations between the PSOE and the current governing team, as well as those subsequently made by the current first deputy mayor, Juan Carlos Morejón Serrano, against the previous PP mayor, José Manuel Fernández.
«This exchange of accusations is creating a situation of notable institutional tension», said Antonio Marín, who explained that, on the one hand, «the PSOE and the current governing team exchanged very serious accusations relating to unfair dismissals», and, on the other, «the first deputy mayor issued a direct warning to the previous PP mayor, referring to alleged irregularities in hiring procedures during his time in charge of the Town Hall».
In view of the seriousness of these statements, Marín has announced that VOX has requested «all the documentation relating to the events mentioned» in order to «clarify what happened and determine precisely whether the accusations made in the council chamber are true».
