Town Hall proposes solutions for Bahía de las Rocas

-

The councillor for Urban Planning, Marcos Ruiz, has visited the Bahía de las Rocas development in response to the problems residents face because of the state of the infrastructure in this part of our municipality.

The councillor wanted to check first-hand the state of the collapsed road and of the streets and green areas of this development, in order to try to find a solution for these residents.

Indeed, Ruiz and the Urban Planning technical team, together with the residents of Bahía de las Rocas themselves, have been working side by side for months to resolve this problem.
This road has been impassable for more than 10 years and the infrastructure is badly damaged.

For this reason, the creation of an alternative street to provide access for the vehicles of people who live in this area is being studied.

The possibility of maintaining the Bahía de las Rocas roads is also being considered, as the passage of machinery and heavy lorries leaves them in poor condition. The Urban Planning department therefore plans to set up a route for these vehicles, as well as requiring the developers to repair the damage caused by their passage.

This development, home to more than 1,000 families, including second homes, enjoys privileged views and a privileged location within our municipality, and the department headed by Ruiz will not rest until it has given these residents a satisfactory response.
