Today, Wednesday: 6 new positive cases and 5 recoveries

Manilva is moving further away from the possibility of an easing of restrictions next week if this rise in incidence continues for a third consecutive day, even though the Cumulative Incidence in the Health District is now below 150 (143.7), another of the conditions for that easing.

The Regional Ministry of Health and Families, in collaboration with the Institute of Statistics and Cartography of Andalusia, has published today’s data for Wednesday 10 March, which report 6 new positive cases and 5 recoveries. As a result, the number of active cases over the last 14 days rises to 31, and the active incidence over the last 14 days increases from 182.5 to 188.6 (cases per 100,000 inhabitants). The total number of confirmed cases in Manilva since the start of the pandemic stands at 899 people and 17 deaths.

The cumulative incidence over the last 7 days rises from 103.49 to 115.57 (positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants).

As of today, Wednesday 10 March, the active cases over the last 14 days are:

* Manilva: 31 cases (1 more)
* Estepona: 97 cases (99 fewer)
* San Roque: 50 cases (1 fewer)
* Castellar: 5 cases (1 more)
* Los Barrios: 36 cases (2 fewer)
* La Línea: 51 cases (2 more)
* Algeciras: 212 cases (14 more)
* Benahavís: 11 cases (unchanged)
* Marbella: 355 cases (6 more)

This newsroom has produced a graph showing the total positive cases since the start of the pandemic, the details for the last 14 days and recoveries, which we update from Monday to Friday and which we have included in our «Coronavirus Special.»
