The countdown to the August Fair 2026 in Manilva begins to take shape with one of its most eagerly awaited events. The Festivals department is holding this afternoon the gala to elect the queens, ladies and misters, which will take place this Sunday 12 April in Plaza Vicente Espinel in Sabinillas. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday 11 April, but the weather forecast meant it had to be postponed until today, Sunday.
From 18:00, the stage will fill with excitement as contestants take part in various categories. For the youngest children, the selection will be made by draw, while in the youth category a jury will be responsible for assessing the candidates and deciding who will be the representatives at the local festivities.
The event combines tradition, nerves, enthusiasm and entertainment in a festive atmosphere designed for all audiences. The gala will also feature live music to liven up the afternoon.
The grand finale will be the announcement of the names of those who will become the face of the Manilva Fair 2026, kicking off one of the most important celebrations in the local calendar.
