At a time marked by drought, Manilva has taken a decisive step towards improving its water supply. The Town Hall has successfully completed the refurbishment of the La Colonia well, located in the Manilva river. The work involved an investment of more than €100,000 from the Diputación de Málaga.
The mayor, José Manuel Fernández, together with his governing team, visited the facilities to check that they are working properly. This new water resource, which adds to the existing ones, will allow the municipality to face with greater peace of mind the periods of water shortage that the province in particular suffers.
