The Cofradía del Castillo opens its new premises

-

The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, and members of the governing team attended yesterday the opening ceremony of the refurbished premises for the Cofradía del Castillo. This space will allow the brotherhood to store its processional float and will serve as its headquarters.

The president of the Cofradía del Castillo, as well as the parish priest, highlighted that these new premises were the result of a campaign lasting eight years. Finally, thanks to the joint effort of the brotherhood and the Town Hall, this dream has become a reality.

The premises, located on calle Castillo, have an area of 100 square metres and have been completely refurbished. An automatic gate bearing an image of the Virgen del Carmen, created by local artist Israel Rial, has been installed on the façade.

The mayor of Manilva, José Manuel Fernández, congratulated the Cofradía del Castillo on this new space and highlighted the importance of collaboration between institutions and local associations for the development of the municipality.
