Virgen del Carmen in Castillo de la Duquesa
The events will begin at 08:00 with lively reveille music and street parades by the «Charanga de Cádiz». In the afternoon, at 18:30, the Santa Misa Rociera will be held in honour of the «Patron Saint of Seafarers» at the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, sung by the «Coro de la Escuela Municipal de Música». This will be followed by the procession through the streets of Castillo, accompanied by the «Banda Municipal de Música», ending with the image being taken on board at Puerto de la Duquesa, after which it will travel along the coastline of our municipality. At 22:00 there will be music and dancing in the Huerto park with the group «Kalima».
Virgen del Carmen in Sabinillas
These events will begin at 12:00 with Holy Mass in honour of the Virgen del Carmen, in Plaza Costa del Sol, sung by the «Coro de la Escuela Municipal de Música». At 13:00, the Coronation of the Queens and Junior and Children’s Ladies-in-Waiting, organised by the «Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen y de San Luis de Sabinillas» in collaboration with the Culture department.
At 19:00 we can enjoy the procession of the image, which will be taken on board to travel along the coastline of our municipality, accompanied by the «Agrupación musical Veracruz» from Estepona.
At 22:00 the groups «Latidos» and «Compás Flamenco» will perform, delighting us with contemporary songs and entertaining everyone present throughout the night.
