The Blue Flag has once again been awarded to Sabinillas beach and to the Duquesa marina. The province of Málaga is preparing for a dream summer with a total of 50 Blue Flags, awards that endorse the quality of its beaches, marinas and tourist boats. This year, the province has won three more Blue Flags than in 2023, consolidating its position as a benchmark in sun and beach tourism.
The 41 Blue Flags for beaches will fly in municipalities such as Algarrobo, Benalmádena, Casares, Fuengirola, Málaga, Manilva and Nerja, among others. These awards recognise the cleanliness of the water, the environmental management of the beaches, the safety of users and the wide range of services.
In addition to the beaches, six marinas have received the Blue Flag: Benalmádena, Caleta de Vélez, Estepona, La Duquesa in Manilva, Marbella and Puerto Banús. These marinas offer quality facilities and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
