In a gesture full of love and creativity, a new space dedicated to couples in love and to love in general has been created. Councillor Fina Gómez came up with the project, which was carried out by the Infrastructure and Works department of Manilva Town Hall.
This «Balcón del Amor» (Balcony of Love) is located at the viewpoint at the entrance to Manilva Pueblo. The structure, designed in the shape of a heart and painted in a passionate red, is a perfect place for residents and visitors to enjoy special moments. In addition to the metal structure, two benches, also red, have been installed.
The entire governing team, led by Mayor José Manuel Fernández and First Deputy Mayor Agustín Vargas, attended the opening. Fina Gómez and Gema Zotano, amid laughter and emotion, placed the first two padlocks on the «Balcón del Amor», inviting residents to follow their example.
But that is not all. The councillor also announced the start of a competition. Residents can have their photograph taken at this viewpoint, which has spectacular views of the Estepona mountains, and send their pictures to the Town Hall’s email address. The reward? They will be entered into a draw for a special gift. A very romantic way to celebrate love in Manilva! 💕📸🎁
