The Andalusian Government announced on Wednesday 3 March the new measures agreed after the meeting of the expert committee, which assesses the pandemic situation in Andalucía. It is a slight easing of restrictions, which allows opening hours to be extended until 21:30, for both shops and hospitality, in those municipalities that move to emergency level 2.
These are the new measures announced by the Junta:
1. Keep most of the current measures in place to avoid, as far as possible, a fourth wave:
- Perimeter closure of the autonomous community.
- Perimeter closure of the provinces.
- Perimeter closure of municipalities with more than 500 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
- Closure of non-essential activity in municipalities with more than 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
- Curfew from 22:00 to 06:00.
2. Increase gatherings from 4 to 6 people, in the home and in outdoor restaurants and hospitality venues.
3. In those municipalities that are at alert level 2 from this Friday, commercial activity, including restaurants, may open until 21:30 and the sale of alcohol in shops is also permitted until that same time, while the curfew remains at 22:00 throughout Andalucía.
4. Levels are reviewed every week, so towns at level 3 may move to level 2 the following week or vice versa, depending on how the incidence rate develops. This is a dynamic measure, as it has been until now.
5. The decisions on which areas are at level 2, 3 or 4 will be taken tomorrow by the provincial alert committees, so we will not know the situation in Manilva until tomorrow.
If the values used so far to measure active incidence are taken into account, Manilva is very close to moving from High risk level (supposedly level 3) to Medium risk (supposedly level 2), with an incidence below 150. We remind readers that today Manilva’s active incidence over the last 14 days fell from 267.7 to 182.5 (cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
This is the current situation in the municipality:
