Manilva Town Hall, through the Public Safety and Commerce departments, headed by the mayor, José Manuel Fernández, and Noelia Muñoz respectively, has announced the forthcoming regulation of the use of public space on the Paseo Marítimo. The main aim is to balance business activity with leisure and pedestrian traffic in this busy area of the municipality.
Measures for greater fairness and safety
To this end, the owners of establishments will be notified of the need to set up within a designated area. In this way, the aim is to ensure that everyone has the same possibilities and opportunities to place their furniture, avoiding overcrowding of public space and guaranteeing the safety of pedestrians.
A Paseo Marítimo for everyone
The Manilva Town Hall considers it essential that one of the most important locations in the municipality offers the best service to its visitors. However, it is also a priority that residents have a spacious and safe area in which to enjoy the Paseo Marítimo.
Extension to other commercial areas
The measure to regulate the use of public space will be extended to the commercial areas of the municipality that require special planning. The aim is to ensure a balance between economic activity and the enjoyment of public space by all citizens.
