The PSOE de Manilva has announced on its social media channels the list of people who will make up its electoral list for the upcoming municipal elections on 28 May; a list with some new faces but which keeps intact the top 6 from the last elections in 2019, in which it won 5 council seats before entering a governing pact with Compromiso Manilva. That agreement has given the mayor’s office a degree of stability, with the party serving a full term without no-confidence motions, as had been the pattern under previous administrations.
A swap of positions, with Francisco Becerra moving up to 3rd place and Manuel Alejandro Gil dropping to the position Becerra held in the last elections, is the only change we can see in the top places.
The PSOE’s full statement reads as follows:
«The PSOE Assembly of Manilva has just unanimously approved the list with which we will stand in the upcoming municipal elections in May.
It is a winning list, one that adds votes, with a proven capacity for management, joined by women and men with social leadership, talent, energy and new ideas.
A new impetus that will allow us to take on new and greater responsibilities so that we can continue making people’s lives easier.»
