The file, submitted by the company Ortega Avilés S.L., provides for the establishment of this special employment centre on rural land and can be consulted for one month for the submission of any objections.
Manilva Town Hall has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga (BOP) the notice putting out for public consultation the action project for the establishment of a Special Employment and Training Centre for a Plant Nursery in the municipality.
The initiative is promoted by the company Ortega Avilés, Sociedad Limitada, and proposes an extraordinary development on rural land, under the Law for the Promotion of Territorial Sustainability in Andalusia (LISTA).
According to the official notice, the Governing Board of the Local Public Administrative Agency GEUMA agreed to admit the project for processing at a meeting held on 18 June 2026.
One month to consult the file and submit objections
With the publication of the notice in the BOP of Málaga, dated today, Friday 9 October, a one-month public consultation period opens, starting from the day after that publication.
During this period, any individual or legal entity may consult the administrative file and the relevant technical documentation, and submit any objections, comments or suggestions they consider appropriate.
The documentation is available both on the municipal electronic office website and at Manilva Town Hall, during public opening hours.
The publication allows the administrative processing of the project to move forward, although admission for processing and the opening of the public consultation period do not, in themselves, amount to final approval of the development.
