The announced project involved the creation of a dog beach in the municipality covering 400 m2, with functional features and suitable play areas for animals, located on Las Arenas beach which, according to the Town Hall, will become the first pet beach in the province with parking areas.
A year after the announcement of its launch, the project appears to be becoming a reality following the installation of the posts that will mark out the area set aside for animals to use and enjoy on the beach.
We recall that this project was announced in January 2024 following the approval of the Director of Public Health of the Costa del Sol Health District, which gave the green light for the start of the procedures needed for its implementation.
