Virgen del Carmen in Castillo de la Duquesa
The events will begin at 08:00 with lively reveille music and street parades by the “Charanga de Cádiz”. Later in the afternoon, at 18:30 the Santa Misa Rociera (Holy Mass in the Rocío style) will be held
in honour of the “Patron Saint of Seafarers” at the Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, sung by the “Coro de la Escuela Municipal de Música”. This will be followed by the procession through the streets of Castillo, accompanied by the “Banda Municipal de Música”, ending with the embarkation of the image at Puerto de la Duquesa, which will travel along the coastline of our municipality. At 22:00 there will be music and dancing in the Huerto park with the group “Kalima”.
Virgen del Carmen in Sabinillas
These events will begin at 12:00 with Holy Mass in honour of the Virgen del Carmen in Plaza Costa del Sol, sung by the “Coro de la Escuela Municipal de Música”. At 13:00 the Coronation of the Queens and Junior and Children’s Ladies-in-Waiting, organised by the “Hermandad de la Virgen del Carmen y de San Luis de Sabinillas” in collaboration with the Culture department.
At 19:00 we can enjoy the procession of the image, accompanied by the “Agrupación musical Veracruz” from Estepona, which will later be taken on board near Plaza Costa del Sol in Sabinillas to travel along the coastline of our municipality.
At 22:00 the groups “Latidos” and “Compás Flamenco” will perform, delighting all those attending with contemporary songs and livening up the night.
