The head of infrastructure and public works at Manilva Town Hall, Agustín Vargas, joined us this morning on a visit to the perimeter fencing along the A-7 as it passes through our town.
The councillor said that work will begin imminently to improve the appearance of the fencing, which has deteriorated badly over the years.
Vargas also reported that, for a few days now, various improvement works have been under way at several points in the municipality. He listed them in front of our microphones and said that work will continue across the whole municipal area.
The local company Codesur will carry out the improvement and painting of the protective fence. It covers some 740 metres of fencing, whose appearance will be notably improved after the planned works, in this area of our municipality.
The councillor also added that, as far as the law allows, minor works will be carried out by local companies, so that this money stays in our town.
The infrastructure and public works department also said that the beautification of the municipal area will be a priority, as it is essential that Manilva presents its best image, both for residents and for those who visit us.
