The Sports department announces that today, Saturday, 4 March, from 12:00, the opening ceremony of the Leisure Area (Recinto de Ocio) on the Manilva river road will take place. Everyone is invited.
As you know, this area has been adapted by the Sports, Urban Planning and Infrastructure and Works departments, led by Manolo Gil, Marcos Ruiz and Diego José Jiménez, so that everyone can enjoy it for outdoor sport.
The town’s sports clubs have also been invited to this special event and will be represented at the opening, which will feature children’s entertainment and music. Water will also be available to keep hydrated everyone who wishes to enjoy the day.
The site has a range of courts and tracks, including basketball, five-a-side football, volleyball, an athletics track, skating and a cycling circuit, among others.
It will also have a kiosk bar, which will soon serve users of these new facilities.
