The Directorate-General of Traffic (DGT) will soon install an average-speed radar on the stretch of the A-377 road linking Casares and Manilva. The device will be located between kilometres 6.750 and 5.750 in the direction of Manilva.
Its introduction aims to reduce accidents at this location, where numerous collisions have been recorded and, in most of them, speeding may have been the cause of this blackspot on the provincial roads. The maximum speed allowed on this stretch is 60 km/h.
