Manilva Town Hall is improving public services with the addition of a new multifunctional lorry that will help optimise day-to-day tasks across various municipal areas.
The councillor for the Vehicle Fleet department, Laura Salazar, together with her team, recently inspected the new vehicle, which will join the municipal fleet with the aim of reinforcing work in departments such as Infrastructure and Works or Parks and Gardens.
It is a 320-horsepower Mercedes Benz Multilink, a high-performance vehicle due to enter service next May. With this purchase, the council aims to significantly improve the operational capacity of municipal services, speeding up work and increasing efficiency in everyday operations.
The new lorry also stands out for its versatility, as it comes with a wide range of attachments that make it a key tool for multiple functions. These include a pallet grab, an operator basket, ten skip-type containers for construction waste, another ten for pruning and gardening waste, and a clamshell-type grab bucket.
The governing team stresses that this investment reflects its commitment to continue modernising municipal resources and to provide a better service to residents, adapting to the real needs of the municipality and making the daily work of operators easier.
